About

To describe Talon Grace as a folk artist would be a place to begin. Yes he uses found objects and materials. Yes he is self taught with no formal training like most folk artist. Yes he creates from memories and emotions all traits of a folk artist but that is perhapsmwhere the similarities stop and his spirit begins Talonsgrace is authentcity at its core. Yes self taught through the honesty of life flowing through a heart. Talon is a natural at creativity.

Currently he creates through “Abstraction Art” of many forms, from “Abstract Expressionism” to “Abstract Minimalism of Catharisis”, “Sculptures of Found Objects” and also there is his “Conceptual Art” of many forms from “Traditional Art” to Black and White “Theatrical Photography” to again “Sculptures of The Lost and Found'‘ all explore the creative thought process which invoves a concept, storyboarding the concept to designing and building his sets and even costoms and clothing-no matter what methodit is, its all about releasing what is within. A assemblage of many that becomes a story. Art clashing with life.

His goal as an artist which began later in life at the tender age of 54, is to create like a child. To rediscover that 3 year old that lives inside him. Perfectly Imperfect. This is his finest ambition. He approaches the blank space with an eclectic palette, unexpected, to make his marks. Work evoking emotion one cannot deny. Artist by design formed from a life of hardships.

Talon was made to share this gift. An inspiration to all who want to be seen as they are and what they have endured.

This is the essence of Talonsgrace.

Embrace your imperfections for it is within this that your purpose can be found, it can become your birthmark of life
